Over the next few weeks, I will be posting bios for the characters of Innocence Seekers: Akari of the Light, an entry of Innocence Seekers: The Black Rose. The first entry, that of the main character Akari Kuritani, is here. This is the second of these posts, which will detail one of Akari’s friends, Michiru.

Michiru is a character in Innocence Seekers: Akari of the Light and one of Akari’s friends. Like Akari, she was born and raised in the Kingdom of Namari. In general, she is reserved and soft-spoken, and when she was younger, she was quite shy.
Michiru is the younger sister of a girl named Misato Kurosawa, who had given up on fighting as a magical girl a few years ago as a result of an incident. Like her friends and her older sister, Michiru is an Innocent (magical girl), with powers very few people can attain. However, having those powers means that she will be forced into dangerous battles sooner or later, and most likely at a very young age. Misato, with that incident still fresh in her mind, tried to shield Michiru from her destiny, but when Mihara Elementary School was attacked, she had no choice but to allow Michiru to fight alongside Akari.
Michiru’s Inherent Ability is Clairvoyance, which allows her to sense the location of anyone or anything within ten kilometres, even if they are well-hidden. It is not clear how powerful this Inherent Ability is, but it is known that it can cross dimensions and bypass even the most powerful cloaking spells. So far, nothing has been found which can block Michiru’s Inherent Ability. In gameplay, this will manifest as immunity to accuracy debuffs, immunity to the Blind status effect, and the ability to hit any targets with the Invisibility status effect with no penalty to accuracy. Additionally, Michiru’s evasion does not decrease whenever she is attacked from the side or the back.
